My Personal Journey In Color

I’d like to share my personal journey with color therapy.
My wife, Elizabeth—who started Color and Convo—was looking for something that might help with my PTSD. That’s when she came across color therapy and suggested we give it a try. As a veteran, I was skeptical. Honestly, I didn’t think something as simple as wearing colored lenses could make a difference.
We started with the rose-colored glasses. Even I noticed a shift. That moment changed everything—I ordered a full set.
What I discovered surprised me. Each color triggered a distinct physical and mental response. Some were subtle; others were overwhelming. When I got to indigo, it was life-changing. For the first time in years, the voices stopped. Just… silence. It was a profound moment of peace.
At the beginning, two specific colors made me feel physically sick—nauseous, unsettled, like my body was rejecting them. But as I began healing and working through emotional blocks, I realized something powerful: my mind was resisting change. And change, as we all know, can be hard.
Learning what each color represented and how it connected to my inner world gave me direction. I was able to focus on those areas of myself that needed attention. With time, the discomfort faded, and understanding grew. Today, I can wear all ten colors without resistance—only calm and clarity. I even wear them more often than before because they help keep me grounded and centered.
Instead of just surviving, I feel like I’m finally living again.
Thank you, Color and Convo.
Thank you, Elizabeth.

How do you use the color therapy glasses? Do you wear one pair more than the others?
